Totnes is an especially good place for markets; Tuesday sees the Elizabethan market in town, with costumed marketers selling crafts, while Fridays and Saturdays are general market days with everything from furniture to bread made in a local religious community. Check out tourist information offices for times and places of these traditional markets.
