The Quay Cafe - Nr Barnstaple

The Quay Cafe at Fremington has a Bronze Taste of the West Award and has also won a ‘Good Food Award’. The cafe is located in the refurbished railway station at Fremington Quay on the Tarka Trail cycle route, and next to the RSPB reserve. The cafe is open all year, and provides refreshments, lunches, cream teas, super local cakes, sandwiches, baguettes and excellent local and national beers and wines.

Bigbury - The Oyster Shack

Exeter - Bar ZeegCo

Mr and Mrs Zessimides and the whole staff work hard to produce distinctive food served in interesting surroundings, with varied cuisine covering the whole world. All food is freshly prepared from the finest local produce and cooked to order. So much care goes into the food, that the owners request that if you have limited time, you order before you arrive or ask them which dishes can be prepared quickly. Special dietary requirements can be catered for. From Monday to Saturday, the restaurant is open all day, with the kitchen closing at 10.30pm. On Sundays, the restaurant is open all day but the kitchen closes at 8 pm. Located very close to the best city centre night spots, and notably the Theatre Royal, so you can come for dinner before or after the show. To add to the ambience, there's a heated terrace garden for dining outdoors or for enjoying fresh coffee and snacks while shopping. There's a free evening car park, too!
