The Quay Cafe - Nr Barnstaple
The Quay Cafe at Fremington has a Bronze Taste of the
West Award and has also won a ‘Good Food Award’. The cafe is located in
the refurbished railway station at Fremington Quay on the Tarka Trail cycle
route, and next to the RSPB reserve. The cafe is open all year, and
provides refreshments, lunches, cream teas, super local cakes, sandwiches, baguettes and
excellent local and national beers and wines.
The Corner Cafe - Barnstaple
The Corner Cafe in Barnstaple has
established a firm local reputation, a fact which is attributable to the
care with which the food is prepared and served. Club
sandwiches and a delicious breakfast are just two of the specialities, all
prepared with fresh local produce.
Bigbury - The Oyster Shack
Well, yes, it does feature rather a lot of
oysters, but it also has lobster, crab, fish of all kinds, and salad,
soups and pasta. Highly recommended for delicious and filling meals. Open
all year round for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

This bistro is a
great place to eat out in Brixham and adds a new continental-style café
culture to this attractive little town's facilities. With a wonderful
neighbourhood atmosphere, warm and friendly staff, and very comfortable
surroundings, you're assured of a great visit, whether you just want
coffee or a more substantial meal. Friday nights offer serious food from
around the world.
Plymouth - Bar ZeegCo
Mr and Mrs Zessimides and the whole staff
work hard to produce distinctive food served in interesting surroundings,
with varied cuisine covering the whole world. All food is freshly prepared
from the finest local produce and cooked to order. So much care goes into
the food, that the owners request that if you have limited time, you order
before you arrive or ask them which dishes can be prepared quickly.
Special dietary requirements can be catered for. From Monday to Saturday,
the restaurant is open all day, with the kitchen closing at 10.30pm. On
Sundays, the restaurant is open all day but the kitchen closes at 8 pm.
Located very close to the best city centre night spots, and notably the
Theatre Royal, so you can come for dinner before or after the show. To add
to the ambience, there's a heated terrace garden for dining outdoors or
for enjoying fresh coffee and snacks while shopping. There's a free
evening car park, too!
Exeter - Harry's Restaurant
Situated one street back from Exeter's busy
shopping centre, Harry's provides a relaxing oasis in which you can enjoy

and delicious dishes from Morocco and Southern Spain mixed with a soupcon

Day. Choose from over fifteen teas and Moroccan coffee in a room packed
with Moroccan crafts and fabrics, providing a colourful and warm

warehouse in the exciting development of the Royal William
Yard. The designers have achieved a contemporary look and style, which
provides loads of space in which you can

there's a wonderful art gallery next door, you can combine culture and

have created a classic French brasserie and café in the centre of Totnes.

Alongside Waterside Bistro is a super
little pizza cafe, open in summer only from June to September. this lively
space serves authentic wood-fired pizzas, hand finished with a superb variety of toppings.
