Salcombe - Soar Mill Cove Hotel

Owned by the Makepeace family, Soar Mill Cove has a special kind of attentive service, where courteous and helpful staff look after your every need. All the bedrooms open directly onto the hotel's gardens. Large, comfortable beds ensure a sound night's sleep, but rooms are also equipped with TV and DVD, there's a well stocked library, and room service is always on call. Umberleigh - Northcote Manor

All eleven bedroom suites have been meticulously planned by a leading designer to ensure superb elegance and comfort, with decorations and furnishings of the highest standards. Tavistock - Browns Hotel, Brasserie and Wine Bar

This four star luxury hotel in Tavistock, surrounded by the majestic Dartmoor National Park, was originally a 17th century coaching inn, and is now a stylish town house hotel, complete with brasserie and wine bar. Okehampton - Lewtrenchard Manor

A Jacobean Manor house in its own secret hollow lying below the wild tors of Dartmoor, Lewtrenchard is more or less untouched by the passage of time. Exeter - Macdonald Southgate Hotel

Ottery St Mary - Tumbling Weir Hotel
