B&B and Self-catering Farm Stays in Devon With
"Devon Farms"
Devon Farms is a co-operative of
forward thinking farmers who have something special in the way of
accommodation to provide to visitors
to Devon. The co-op is over fifteen years old, and is run by the farmers
who are members - that way, standards are kept high. All members must be
working farmers and there are regular inspections of properties to ensure
everything is kept up to standard.
The farmers who run these properties look
after much of the Devon countryside, and so they know all about the area,
its wildlife, and its facilities - if you stay in a Devon farm, we'd
encourage you to use the vast knowledge of your hosts to enhance your
visit. Certainly these men and women are passionate about Devon and the
way of life they represent, and they are ready to tell you all about it.
Devon Farms offer top quality accommodation
ranging from self-catering cottages to farmhouse bed and breakfasts, and
in many cases you can join in with some of the farm activities. Whatever
the purpose of your visit, business or pleasure, there's sure to be
somewhere suitable for you to stay, in a wide range variety of areas including Dartmoor
and Exmoor. Of course you can also find places to stay near the excellent
South west beaches, or adjacent to charming
fishing villages, the well-known nature reserves or the exciting towns and
other attractions of Devon.
